GCSE Tuition

From January 2025, Anglotec Academy will be offering face-to-face tuition for GCSE English and Maths in small groups.

GCSE English Tuition

This course gives students all the support they need to gain a grade 4 or above. These short, intensive courses will give students all the support they need to gain their target result. Students learn in small groups in a friendly but focused environment away from the distractions of secondary school. They can have fun while developing their literacy and English communication skills. With this course, students can cement their chances of passing GCSE English.

Students will acquire best practices for the GCSE English exam, cultivating self-learning and research skills, writing to entertain, inform and persuade, understanding and enjoying English literature, consolidation of spelling, grammar and punctuation knowledge.

“Hi, I’m Anna. I’m a fully qualified English teacher. Although I now live in Scarborough, I’ve also lived and taught in Spain, Malaysia, Greece and Turkey.

I’ve been teaching and tutoring for the past 30 years and working as a GCSE English examiner for 6 years. I specialise in ensuring success in GCSE English Language and Literature examinations.

During the summer, I teach at Anglotec Academy, enjoying meeting all the students from different countries and cultures.

When I’m not teaching, I’m often found in the gym or running along the cliff tops of the beautiful Yorkshire coast. I’m also a proud mum to two girls.”

GCSE Maths Tuition
